Martin Meier-Pfister has worked on numerous challenging advisory and communications mandates over the years. These include corporate crisis management and litigation support as well as over thirty IPOs and public M&A transactions - some of them friendly, some unsolicited, some hostile. Before co-founding IRF, Martin Meier-Pfister worked for 10 years as a consultant with leading Swiss PR firms. In 2003 he co-authored a book on investor relations and financial communications called “Erfolgsfaktor Investor Relations? Finanzkommunikation in der Schweiz”, published by NZZ Buchverlag. He also authored the Investor Relations Handbook published by the SIX Securities & Exchanges in 2018.
Martin has a degree in economics and sociology from the University of St. Gallen. He is a member of the Board of SECA, the Swiss Private Equity & Corporate Finance Association, and a frequent guest lecturer at the University of St Gallen. Martin Meier-Pfister is a co-founder of IRF and initiated the MBO - buying IRF from the Wirz Group - in 2002.
