Martin Meier-Pfister is a co-founder of IRF and initiated the MBO – buying IRF from the Wirz Group – in 2002. He has worked on numerous challenging advisory and communications mandates over the years. These include corporate crisis management and litigation support, as well as over thirty IPOs and public M&A transactions. Before co-founding IRF, Martin worked for ten years as a consultant with leading Swiss PR advisories. In 2003 he co-authored a book on investor relations called “Erfolgsfaktor Investor Relations? Finanzkommunikation in der Schweiz”, published by NZZ Buchverlag. He also authored the Investor Relations Handbook published by the SIX Swiss Exchange in 2018. Martin has a master’s degree in economics and sociology from the University of St Gallen where today he is a frequent guest lecturer.
