Martin Meier-Pfister is a co-founder of IRF and initiated the MBO – buying IRF from the Wirz Group – in 2002. He has worked on numerous challenging advisory and communications mandates over the years. These include corporate crisis management and litigation support, as well as over thirty IPOs and public M&A transactions. Before co-founding IRF, Martin worked for ten years as a consultant with leading Swiss PR advisories. He is the author of several books. In 2025, he published the book ‘Scandals & Crises – Reputation and Communication Strategies for Executives’ with NZZ Libro. He is also the author of the Investor Relations Handbook of the SIX Swiss Exchange, published in 2018, and co-editor of the book ‘Investor Relations as a Success Factor? Financial Communication in Switzerland,’ published by NZZ Verlag in 2003. Martin has a master’s degree in economics and sociology from the University of St Gallen where today he is a frequent guest lecturer.
